CIMT Work Experience

During enrollment in the applied technology program, the Work Experience program will provide students with the benefit of part-time employment in a manufacturing environment while attending classes.

Features

• Part-time employment opportunities
• Work experience positions can be in any job within a manufacturing company
• The positions can be any length of time during the year
• During work experience, students are paid $8.50 per hour by the company

Eligibility

• Enrolled at Fresno City College or Reedley College in a two-year applied technology field
• Maintain a grade point average of at least 2.5 during the work experience program
• Submit a Faculty Recommendation Form
• Be at least 18 years of age when starting the work experience program
• Pass drug screen requirements (completed at time of job offer)
• Fulfill requirements specific to the employer
