CIMT Summer Internship
This special training program for second year students interested in manufacturing-related positions has been developed by the San Joaquin Valley Water Technology Cluster in collaboration with Fresno City College and Reedley College .
Features
- Full-time Summer Internship at a host company in Fresno or Madera County .
- n most cases, internships will last 2-4 months during the summer (May - August)
- During the internship, students are paid $8.50 per hour by the company for a minimum of 150 hours

Water Technology Training Academy
Summer Interns will participate in the Water Technology Training Academy . The Training Academy will be a series of half-day workshops on topics important to the industry:
- Workplace Safety
- Manufacturing Flow Process
- Basic Shop Math
- Teamwork & Diversity
- Basic Employment Skills
Eligibility
- Enrolled at Fresno City College or Reedley College in a two-year applied technology field
- Complete first year of program prior to starting internship
- Maintain a grade point average of at least 2.5 during the internship
- Submit a Faculty Recommendation Form
- Be at least 18 years of age when starting internship
- Be available to intern during regular business hours (hours will vary by company) in the summer months
- Pass drug screen requirements (completed upon receiving an internship)
- Fulfill requirements specific to the host company
